PURPLE PETALS is a beautiful rendition of this singular flower. The depth of the purple, the shading, the golden yellow center ~ I can close my eyes and enjoy the lovely fragrance it gives.
So what ~ you painted the background first...but you managed to get a terrific combination together with the background and the flower. I love this painting ~ very much.
P.S. Purple is my favorite color... PURPLE PETALS ... pays excellent homage to it.
